Lamu Town is two miles north of Shela, and Manda Island and its airport are just a short boat ride away across the Lamu channel.

Visitor’s Book
“We are back from the most wonderful time in Lamu. I don’t think words can do it justice! Once we arrived at The Fort it was like a dream. We hardly wanted to leave and just spent leisurely days beside the pool with THE BEST food you can dream of! Shela is such a lovely little village to wander through and Gabriella was a lovely host.”
