Asali House, Shela Village, Lamu
A 4-bedroom family home tucked away on the outskirts of fashionable Shela, Asali is welcoming yet secluded and private. Named after the Kiswahili word for honey, Asali is a sweet spot for relaxed village living, with the seafront and beach just a few minutes’ stroll away.
“We loved Asali House and didn’t want to leave. It is so beautiful and being set back from Shela it is more peaceful. The team looked after us brilliantly and we had amazing meals cooked by Chombo. We felt so spoiled and couldn’t recommend it more.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Asali House. The house is beautiful, the staff are wonderful and Daniel is a great chef.”
“Asali is beautiful, exactly as it is in the photos. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and a fun excursion. Our kids really enjoyed the house, especially the pool. It was great to have the pool for morning and afternoon chilling. The staff were friendly and helpful and the chef made us some really nice meals! We highly highly recommend Asali and will love to come back when our extended family comes to visit us.”
