ABOUT US

We met on Lamu and spent many years there – living, working and exploring the archipelago – and we are very pleased to share with you our favourite places to stay on Lamu, Manda and Kiwayu islands. Some of the properties on our site we designed and built ourselves, others are owned by friends and neighbours – all are unique, special and highly recommended. We hope you find this site helpful and comprehensive and that you will love Lamu as much as we do. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

After we have received your booking request and have confirmed availability at your retreat of choice, we will send you an invoice for your stay. Bookings can only ever be confirmed after an invoice has been issued and after payment has been made, and are subject to change up until that point. A 50% deposit is generally required in order to secure your booking, with the balance being due 30 days before arrival. We accept payment by bank transfer (Kenya Shillings or US Dollars), by Credit Card or via M-Pesa. Please contact us and see our terms and conditions for further information.
